Student Societies
There are many benefits of joining a society. Students learn things, gain experience, learn how to work as a team, go on official trips to business institutions and participate in inter-college events and many more. The societies at KCEM work with students, teachers, administration and external people so that students gain skills, make connections, broaden their knowledge and become a more well-rounded individual — one that's ready to take on their future career!
- Toastmaster International Club: Toastmasters International Club is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colo., the organization's membership exceeds 357,000 in 143 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.
- Art & Theatre society: The society provides access to students for developing acting skills by gaining comfort in public speaking and experiential role-playing.
- Social care & welfare society: Society motivate students towards social activities such as Swach Bharat campaign activities, blood donation camps, awareness campaigns and initiatives for underserved section of the society.
- Finance & Investment society: The society promote knowledge sharing among students on matters of finance, economics and geopolitics. It encourages continuous learning and discovery of recent trends in the field of investment banking, Bonds, microfinance, nonbanking corporate finance, Bitcoin, and private wealth management through research sessions, newsletters, speaker sessions and visits to prominent financial institutions.
- Literary society: It comprises students who willingly participate in various literary competitions such as paper presentations, extempore, debates and group discussions.)
- Marketing society: It provides a forum for members to educate and enhance their overall understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem including the growing emphasis on ecommerce market.
- Music society: It encourages students to present different genre of music that suits their style and exhibit the same in musical events.
- Sports society: Students are encouraged in various indoor and outdoor games. Annual intra –college tournament is held over for 10 sports including Gully-Cricket, Table tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Chess, Carom, Tug-of War, Kho-Kho etc.
