Industrial Visit to Britania Industries, Lucknow
On 1st March 2025, Krishna College of Education & Management (KCEM) organized an industrial visit to Britannia Industries, Barabanki, providing students with a hands-on learning experience in the manufacturing sector.
During the visit, students explored key aspects of industrial operations, including plant layout, production processes, packaging, waste management, logistics, supply chain management, and HR practices. Mr. Sunil Srivastava, Plant Manager, provided an in-depth overview of the facility, which runs five production lines—four for biscuits and one for rusk—manufacturing popular brands like Marie Gold, Good Day, Milk Bikis, and Tiger Glucose. With a workforce of over 1,600 employees, the Barabanki unit is the third-largest Britannia plant in India.
Ms. Shikha Garg, Plant Officer, guided students through the production areas while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Students engaged in insightful discussions, asking about production capacity (1.25 lakh tonnes), the plant's air ventilation system, and waste management strategies. The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session and lunch at the Britannia campus canteen, making it a truly enriching experience.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar Jaiswal, CEO of Barrownz Group, led the session, offering valuable insights into SEO, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, PPC Advertising, and Email Marketing.
Designed for BBA, B.Com (Hons.), and BCA students, the workshop provided practical knowledge and career guidance, preparing them for the growing digital space.

Krishna College of Education and Management hosted the Empowering Futures: Comprehensive Financial Education Programme on November 12th in collaboration with SEBI, NISM, and NCFE. Under the guidance of Dr. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM) and Mrs. Shubhangi Tripathi (Management Faculty), the workshop aimed to enhance financial literacy among students.

Krishna College of Education and Management hosted a transformative 6-day Employability Skills Workshop, conducted by the NAANDI Foundation and sponsored by Mahindra Pride Classroom. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director) and guided by Dr. Niraj Srivastava (Principal, KCEM), equipping students with essential skills for career readiness.
Designed for BBA, BCA, and B.Com (H) students, the workshop focused on enhancing English proficiency, professional communication, digital identity management, and critical life skills like goal setting, time management, and professional ethics.
